Mt Annapurna I Expedition with ADVENTURE BEYOND THE LIMIT. takes place in the Annapurna region of western Nepal ascending the Annapurna I of 8,091, the ten highest peak of world.  The Himalayan range of Annapurna is a snow massif located in the north-central side of Nepal incorporated of one peak of over 8000 meters, 13 peaks of over 7000 meters and 16 peaks of over 6000 meters. The massif of Annapurna is fifty five kilometers long bordered by kali Gandaki River on the west, Marshyangdi River on the north and east and Pokhara valley in the south. There is a valley like water sink in the western end of the massif called Annapurna Sanctuary. The Annapurna regions of entire annapurana massif along with encompassing area are protected under the name of Annapurna Conservation Area covering the distance of 7629 square kilometers. This is the first and largest conservation region and national park of Nepal.

The Annapurna Expedition traverses through traditional route which was the trade routes between Tibet and Nepal to exchange salt. This Annapurna region is the home of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism, Buddhism, Bon-Po religion and Hinduism of ancient history and establishments. The Annapurna expedition takes the travelers to start hiking from Marsyangdi valley through forests, villages and farms towards the northern side of the Annapurna Massif dominated by Himalaya peaks of Annapurna range. The traditional route for Annapurna Expedition is through the Western face and northeast ridge and is a tough route. The most tough and risky zone is a segment between Camp-I and Camp-II assorted with very unstable and broken glacier which is all set to crash any time. This is the major cause of deaths and avalanche in this region. There are three high camps that are setup during the climbing of the Annapurna summit. The climber has to walk and climb over the 70 degree of steep snow with fixed ropes with fear of falling. The climbing from Camp-II to Camp-III need switchbacks navigation on the snow field but the attempt to the summit is done over the exposed rise which doesn’t require fixed ropes and is done on the free ascent.
