Gasherbrum II 8035m is located opposite to Golden Thrown or Baltoro Kangri on the northwest of Baltoro Glacier. Actually, Gasherbrum II is a part of the greater Gasherbrum group five peaks. Gasherbrum II is the 13th highest mountain in the world. Many climbers have described it as an impressive but achievable peak and much like Cho Oyu in this respect. But the walk to its Base Camp is said to be the best trek in the world. The common route of choice is the southwest ridge as this route is relatively free of objective dangers.
Anyone who wants to climb Gasherbrum II needs to have outstanding stamina and fierce determination. The climb is a steep way up at some sections. From above the snowy Banana Ridge, we continue climbing on a series of ridges and reach a platform where camp II is generally set up.
Anyway, you will have great time climbing Gasherbrum II with Himalayan Alpine Adventure team. We will be fully guiding you during the expedition.
