Trip Overview

Mount Lhotse Expedition – 8516 m – with ADVENTURE BEYOND THE LIMIT.

Mt. Lhotse is the fourth highest peak in the world. It has a Majestic height of 8516m with the largest mountain faces in the world. Mt. Lhotse surrounds Tibet and Nepal on a long east-west crest located south of Mount Everest. Separated by Everest, South Col Lhotse is located in the south of the Everest Massif. There is no single space to stand on the top as its summit is so sharp.

In 1956 Mt. Lhotse was first ascended by F. Luchsinger and E. Reiss of Switzerland, who climbed Lhotse and Everest on the same expedition. Among all of the 8000 meters over the peak, Mt. Lhotse is one of the least climbed ones. Taking the Lhotse challenge is one of the tough things to do, but it will surprise you with an incredible view of Mt. Everest. Ascending Lhotse provides a chance to add your name to a shortlist of those who have scaled up this marvelous mountain.

Mt. Lhotse falls under the Sagarmatha National Park, home to various rare and endangered animals like red panda, snow leopard, and sloth bear. Throughout the journey, different kinds of forests like pine and hemlock, white fir, juniper, and rhododendron can be seen.

Locality found near Mt. Lhotse is influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. Rai, Magar, Tamang, and Sherpa’s are the main habitat of this region. Various monasteries, Buddhist stupas, and museums can be seen along the trail. The lifestyle, culture, and tradition of Highlanders can be seen along the way. The outstanding hospitality of locals helps to attract various tourists.

To encounter the marvel beauty of the trek, Autumn and Spring are the best seasons to travel. Spring and Autumn give trekkers mighty snow-capped mountain views, green dense forest and woodland, blue skies, and Blooming colorful flowers with a pleasant smell.
